Active involvement of young people in Cahul district and their community mobilization in community development processes (IMPACT)

The aim of the project is to develop a community of young people to actively participate in social, cultural and economic life in their localities.
Project objectives:
- Assessing young people’s needs and motivating them to become more actively involved in community life.
- Non-formal education and training of young people in Cahul district in areas such as digital communication, networking, advocacy and project proposal to enable young people to become more actively involved in the community development process.
- Creating good practices to serve as a model for young people in Cahul district by implementing pilot actions developed within the IMPACT project and involving LPA in supporting these initiatives.
Project activities:
To successfully achieve this goal, we will organize a series of activities as follows:
- assessing the needs and aspirations of young people and motivating them to participate actively in the life of their community;
- training the target group through a series of non-formal education courses that enable young people to cooperate with each other by forming thematic networks, to analyze the needs of communities and to propose ideas for solving existing problems;
- Development of these ideas by elaborating concrete proposals, with lists of measures / projects and actions to promote them to ensure support from the community, LPA and other stakeholders;
- Five such pilot projects will also be implemented to put into practice the skills acquired in the IMPACT project which will later serve as good practices for similar actions in the future.
