Interreg NEXT Romania - Rep. Moldova

This program strengthens cross-border cooperation between Romania and the Republic of Moldova, addressing urgent regional needs, including in light of the war’s impact on the region. Key areas include climate change adaptation, disaster risk resilience, health, education, culture, and border management, while ensuring the safety and security of citizens in both countries.

The program promotes an equal partnership between the two countries, supporting joint projects that address shared challenges and improve governance for better cooperation. By promoting transparent and effective governance, the program ensures that both countries can collaborate more effectively to address shared challenges and achieve common goals.

Increasing awareness regarding the importance of traditional heritage for the local economy and tourism and increasing the number of tourists in cross-border regions by promoting common cultural objectives.

AO ACTIE este o organizație non guvernamentală și non profit înființată în anul 2004 în orașul Cahul, Republica Moldova. Scopul principal al Agenției de Cooperare Transfrontalieră și Integrare Europeană este de a contribui la dezvoltarea regională prin susținerea cooperării transfrontaliere între organizațiile și instituțiile din Republica Moldova și partenerii externi.

Totodată, ACTIE își propune  să contribuie la dezvoltarea economică în regiunea transfrontalieră din cadrul Euroregiunii „Dunărea de Jos”. Acest lucru este realizat prin obiectivele specifice ale organizației:

  • crearea unor parteneriate transfrontaliere solide pentru soluționarea unor probleme comune;
  • dezvoltarea resurselor umane prin instruiri și informări;
  • creșterea accesului pe piața muncii inclusiv pentru grupurile social-vulnerabile;
  • modernizarea infrastructurii locale;
  • dezvoltarea turismului în regiunea de sud a Moldovei;

acțiuni care să contribuie la o mai bună protecție a mediului.
