IMPACT+ Project

IMPACT+ aims to strengthen the resilience of small communities across the Black Sea Basin region to emergency situations caused by both natural and human-induced disasters. By promoting cross-border cooperation and developing innovative solutions, the project contributes to risk prevention, climate change adaptation, and enhanced emergency response capacities in rural communities.

General Objective

Risk Prevention, Climate Change Adaptation, and Strengthening Emergency Response Capacities in Small Communities across the Black Sea Basin Region.

Specific Objective

To strengthen the emergency response capacities of rural communities by promoting cross-border cooperation and developing common tools.

Key Activities

• Assessing the preparedness needs of partner communities for emergency situations.
• Developing a common methodology for emergency management in rural areas.
• Creating an online learning platform for community preparedness.
• Organizing training sessions on disaster prevention and emergency management.
• Delivering first aid training and online capacity-building sessions.
• Conducting simulation exercises and tree-planting campaigns in vulnerable areas.
• Organizing an international forum and other communication activities to promote the project and disseminate its results.
