Description:
IMPACT+ is a project funded through the NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, co-financed by the European Union and coordinated by the Cross-Border Cooperation and European Integration Agency (Cahul, Republic of Moldova).
The IMPACT+ project aims to strengthen the resilience of small communities in the Black Sea Basin region to emergency situations caused by natural and human-induced disasters. By promoting cross-border cooperation and developing innovative solutions, the project contributes to risk prevention, climate change adaptation, and the enhancement of response capacities in rural communities.

The main goal of the project is to stimulate the development of historic cross-border ecological tourism in the Black Sea Basin by promoting know-how in heritage protection, climate adaptation technologies in historic and protected buildings and facilitating the transfer of innovative solutions and businesses between countries.

Strengthening the institutional capacity of ICDEAPA and its partners for applied research aimed at harnessing the cross-border potential of aquatic resources in a sustainable manner in the Lower Prut River Floodplain.

General objective:

The main objective of CSSC LAB is to accelerate the up-take of energy storage & sector coupling solutions in different urban environments across the Danube region, particularly in the large number of medium-sized and smaller cities in the Danube area.

Project descriprion:
The BeECO (Joint actions for environmental protection in Black Sea Basin ) project derives from the shared idea within the project consortium that common education, awareness and river clean-up campaigns to reduce river and marine litter are extremely beneficial for environmental protection in the Black Sea. Public awareness and education regarding river and marine litter problems is identified as a common issue in the Black Sea countries and BeECO project is ambitious to provide opportunities for innovative and unconventional solutions.

Project presentation: The project will contribute to the awareness of the potential of young social entrepreneurs by developing their capacity and by creating a favourable ecosystem for social entrepreneurship in Romania, Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova. During the 34 months of implementation, February 2020 – November 2022, the Foundation “Alături de Voi”, Romania, together with the 4 partners will carry out information, promotion, counselling and advocacy activities to achieve the purpose and objectives of the project.

The main goal of the project was to contribute to the creation of an integrated and efficient system of waste management and consequently better environmental protection of the Lower Prut and Lower Danube areas of Moldova and Ukraine.

Project objectives:

• Enlarge the existing cross-border partnerships and intensify the cooperation among local public authorities, environmental protection institutions, NGOs and other stakeholders from Moldova and Ukraine in the field of waste management;
• Extend the waste collecting system in the partner municipalities and procure necessary equipment;
• Awareness raising of the population inhabiting the region regarding the necessity to protect the environment and selective waste collection.
